Dougga or Thugga
Dougga or Thugga is the name of a Tunisian Berber and Roman name near what is now Téboursouk in northern Tunisia. The archaeological site currently covers 65 hectares. UNESCO designated Dougga a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, declaring it to represent "the best-preserved small Roman town in North Africa".
