Monomad | Sleeping Lion

Monomad challenge created by monochromes@monochromes!

I was lucky enough to get a shot with the lions eyes open but as you can imagine, the majority of the time the lion was in fact sleeping! What's new! lol. Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in The Crags, Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. Whilst away on vacation last year, we visited the sanctuary and was fortunate enough to see the lion, lioness, cheetah, puma and much more!

The animals at this sanctuary have been rescued or rehomed from environments that can no longer care for them, and are not kept for breeding purposes. Jukani offers guided walks where you can learn about the animals and there history, and of course take some photos!

Just for good measure, here's the lion awake!

I believe it was a canon camera that I was using, I can't recall. (I had borrowed it from a friend to take on my travels).

Until next time...

Hakuna Matata!

❤️❤️❤️
