Olive harvest time!

It is that time of year again when we harvest the olives to get our own olive oil!
We love it, such a special thing to grow and produce. We don't have our own press, but we take them to one of the local presses and pay a little fee for the service. It is also possible to pay with a part of the olives instead of money - nice trade...

Hey, this is Katja, AKA Katinka! I am from Germany, bought an olive farm in Portugal where I live now with my friend Robin, four sheep, tree dogs and a cat and lots of other little animals not paying rent :D The farm is 100% off-grid, we have our own springs, solar systems and fruit and veggie garden!
