What you know about Apple "SIRI"?

The fun things that started with Apple phone was the voice asstant services named siri. Users using more of the services only for fun rather than using it for any purpose. Just put up the question on the I phone mic and the user get instant respond from the gadgets in a beautiful voice. But have we ever tried to know the real voice behind or we assume it to be another artificial intelligence stuffs incorporated in the I phone.? I belive many would consider it to be the second option. However that is not true.

I phone always bring up some amazing stuffs in their gadgets and the siri voice assistant is one of them. Siri on I phone is solution to all the problem and need. Siri find this, siri plays romantic songs, siri this, siri that...bla bla becomes a regular name for every I phone users. But hardly anyone knows that the voice behind SIRI is sctually of Susan Bennett.

Susan Bennett is voice over artist based out at Atlanta. Her primarily jobs was to singing jingles for advertisenments. The most interesting part of her being called as Siri is that she never been approached by Apple Inc for the landing her voice for Siri. She made the recording for ScanSoft inc an interactive voice response company in 2005 unaware that her voice would becomes so popular for every I phone users. As Apple bought the voice assistant from Scan Soft Susan never been paid by Apple Inc. 6 years after her recording with ScanSoft Inc, Apple used it for their voice assistant services in their IPhone. Making it quite popular for their user base.

What used to be a fun recording by Susan has now becomes popular voice for every I Phone users. And she is happy to know that her voice is so popular around the world. Even though she is not compensated directly by Apple, she is very happy knowing she is behind the beautiful voice assistant services. Happiness comes in small packages and the story of Susan is nothing less than that.
