Pampered mind work.

It is very hard to keep a naughty kids stand still for a minute. They always like to move and play. My younger sister is one of them, who always like to make fun all the time. She like dancing, joking and mimicking someone. To keep her silent is a challenging task. Yesterday I challenged her to keep herself quite for 5 minutes and as expected she failed miserably. She keeps poking and disturbing me in my studies. She didn't keep up the challenge and started doing some silly stuffs. Then I assigned her some task so that to make her quite for few minutes and the trick works. The outcome was much better than my expectation.

As I have some physics assignment to complete, it is hard to keep her aside. She keeps entertaining me and scolding is not an option for such a little heart. So I challenged her to draw something. She seems ready to take us the challenge. I never saw her drawing before. She is good at dancing and making fun. To keep her occupied, I gave her a drawing task. I searched a difficult drawing from the internet and ask her to draw it. This is good way to keep someone occupied. Although She is not into drawing much, but ocassionally she draw something on her notebook. It is always good to keep a sharp mind occupied with productive things. My trick works, as she took up the challenge very seriously.

She looked at the drawing on the phone silently and started drawing it. It took her well above 1 hr to get to the final outcome. And it does make me proud. At no time, I guided, she did by her own. If you look at the drawing it was not an easy one. But she does made me feel proud with her work.

Utilising the sharp mind is always important. I put her in some productive work and it allows her harness a new skill. Also I manage to complete my own school work. It is alwsys good to put the child in productive work rather than wasting in non productive tasks. I loved her art work.

Learning is an art !
