Noble Words : Creating life of Immortal legacies !

Life and death are fundamental aspects of existence, with death being the inevitable cessation of biological functions that define life. It is so strange that even after so many years we still remember the contribution made by some of the great person. People like Alexander, Hitler, Mahatma Gandhi, Newton etc are still remebered for their contribution to differrnt fields. Even though these people does exist anymore with us, still the name and fame earned during their days gets immortal. Our Sanskrit scholars too highlighted the same phenomenon in following lines :

अमृतं चैव मृत्युश्च द्वयं देहे प्रतिष्ठितं |

मृत्युमापद्यते मोहात्सत्येनापद्यतेSमृतं ||

Amrutam chaiva mrutyshcha dvyam dehe pratishthatam.
Mrutyumaapadyate mohaatsatyenaapadyatemrutam.

Amrutam = immortality.
Chaiva utyu = also
Mrutyushcha = mrutyuh + cha.
Mryuh = death.
Dvyam = both.
Dehe = in the body.
Pratishthitam = contained in , exist. Mrutyumaapadyatr = Mrutyum + aapadyate. Aapadyate = happens.
Mohaatsatyenaapadyatemrutam = Mohaat + satyena + aapadyate + amrutam
Mohaat = through ignorance or confusion.
Satyena = by truthfulness.

i.e. Death and immortality both exist together in human body. Death happens due to ignorance and confusion, whereas immortality is achieved by leading a virtuous life adhering to truthfulness.

Birth and death, both are the eternal truths and whosoever is born dies ultimately. The name and fame of a person remains even after his death if he follows a truthful and righteous lifestyle in the service of the mankind.

Name and fame can achieve a form of immortality through lasting impact and recognition, even after an individual's death. This can be achieved through significant achievements, contributions to society, or the creation of enduring works of art or literature. Memories of a person, their deeds, and their creations can be passed down through generations, keeping their name and the concept of their fame alive in collective consciousness.

People who live a life of kindness, generosity, and positive influence can be remembered fondly.
