Noble Words : A sage radiate positivity !

These days the the popularity of Premanand ji Maharaj is increasing days by day. From common man to rich individuals to famous celebrity, everyone showing their interest on the sage life. Premanand ji Maharaj is a modern day sage, a Hindu ascetic, and a spiritual guru. He is known for his teachings on topics like morning routines and the treatment of women. After coming across many of his videos and difderent people perspective, i was wondering, what its takes to be a sage. The answer is found in following Sanskrit verses ;

अलोभः परमं वित्तं अहिंसा परमं तपः |

अमाया परमा विद्या निरवद्या मनीषिणां ||

Alobhh paramam vittam aimsaa paramam tapah//
Amaayaa paramaa vidyaa nirvadyaa maneeshinaam.

Alobha = absence of greed.
Paramam = absolute. supreme.
Vittam = wealth.
Ahimsaa = non violence.
Tapa = religious austerity.
Amaayaa = absence of any type of illusion or deceit
Paramaa = absolute, supreme.
Vidya = knowledge, learning.
Niravadyaa = blameless, unblemished.
Maneeshinaam = sages, noble and righteous persons.

i.e. The best state of being rich is not to be greedy and non-violence is the best penance (religious conduct). To be free from Maya (illusion and deceit) is the best Vidya (knowledge) and similarly to be free from all defects and blemishes (spotless) is the sign of being a sage (great person).

A sage is considered a great person due to their profound wisdom, spiritual insight, and ability to maintain a tranquil mind through self-mastery and detachment from worldly desires. But not everyone qualify to be a sage. To becomes a great, a person needs to have a spotless life and character, then only he can be in line of greatness. They are the one who influences other and being a clean personality always help them bringing transformation in the society.
