Being a whistleblower is hard, dangerous, morally just, and comes at a great cost. It's like trying to un-ring a bell, that once you choose the path of light and truth there will be "cyber armies" that will come and attack whistleblower.
The reason this happens is because more often than not, said whistleblower has the information that the attackers do not want out in the public space for general consumption. In an effort to cover their asses, they will do **anything ** to discredit the whistleblower.
