Proposal

Here's a bit of a fun proposal for a change!

We propose all cards that belong to thepush-scholar1 account by the end of the proposal (roughly 14 days from now) will be transferred to the Splinterlands DAO and delegated back to us for use by our scholar.

At the time of writing, the account owns $2,490.70 worth of cards at market price and we will continue adding more cards throughout this proposal.

Matt (Hive account@yabapmatt) has confirmed that he will handle the logistics of the delegation process for us.

In return for these cards, we ask for an opportunity to speak on a Splinterlands Town Hall about PUSH token with Hive account@cryptoeater most likely representing the PUSH community. We will discuss the logistics with the team if this proposal passes.

PUSH Introduction

Push and Shove (PUSH) is a new Splinterlands inspired memecoin with the main goals of:

• Lock SPS and DEC away in PUSH LPs, thus reducing circulating supply
• Create a gamified and fun experience for the community
• Expose the memecoin community to Splinterlands
• Ultimately grow the Splinterlands community by attracting non-Splinterlands players through PUSH

Proposal Introduction

As part of the sacrifice round for PUSH, 20% of funds sent to pushtoken on Hive Engine and 0xDA735e60915cda78bbd4f3E20d9A2d6902434B04 on BSC will be used to buy cards off the market and used by a scholar to continue building the push-scholar1's deck. As of the writing of this proposal, roughly $37k has been sacrificed meaning a budget of at least approximately $7.4k will be used to buy modern cards off the marketplace. However, please note this full allocation may not have been completely spent yet by the time we hand over the cards. All cards bought after the handover will NOT be part of this proposal.

Proposal Summary

This proposal proposes that the all cards purchased with the sacrifice round funds as of the end of this proposal (roughly 14 days from now) will become property of the Splinterlands DAO sps.dao and be delegated back to push-scholar1 for use.

In return, we ask for a PUSH token community member (most likely Hive account@crypteater) to talk about the PUSH token on the Splinterlands town hall.

Implementation

Hive account@yabapmatt has confirmed he can handle the logistics of the cards delegation. We will liaise directly with Matt when we hand the cards over, roughly 14 days after this proposal post.

The Splinterlands Town Hall is yet to be discussed.

Benefits to the Splinterlands Community

The most immediate benefit to the Splinterlands community is the lock up of SPS through the PUSH LP. Since we will use the PUSH token trading fees to add SPS back to LP, and burn PUSH, more and more SPS will be locked up over time and eventually a portion of SPS can never be retrieved due to the burning of PUSH. Therefore, anyone buying or selling PUSH is contributing to the lock up/burn of SPS!

With the structure of the PUSH token LPs, anyone buying PUSH is technically buying largely SPS, a small amount of DEC and a small amount of ETH. Therefore, people do not need to worry about dilution of assets since people buying PUSH is mostly just buying SPS anyway.

Ultimately, the idea is for this token to get so large that the push and shove meme will penetrate through to other memecoin communities, creating a demand for SPS from non-Splinterlands players and introduce the Splinterlands ecosystem to the wider GameFi community. However, to get big enough we first need the Splinterlands community's support!

In summary:

• Reduced inflation concerns: Buying PUSH essentially means locking up SPS, DEC, and a small amount of ETH, thus minimizing the effects of SPS inflation. As more PUSH is burned, so is SPS essentially.

• Community growth potential: By attracting non-Splinterlands players through PUSH, the proposal aims to expand the Splinterlands community, benefiting everyone in Splinterlands, not just PUSH token holders.
