life update

"Hi Everyone, Chef here. Hope all is well. Sorry we haven't posted much recently. Recently, my hooman mama has been diagnosed with ATN (atypical trigeminal neuralgia) . Simply put, it's a facial nerve pain. She had gone through MRI and thankfully the results came back negative of brain tumour or MS (multiple sclerosis) plaques. It's manageable with help of meds for now, but she still has to see her Neurologist and go from there. This came at a bad timing when my grandma (my hooman's mom) has just finished her radiation treatment from breast cancer.

My mama returned to work yesterday, after being away for 5 months. But, she will only be working for a month since she has submit her resignation letter 2 wks ago stating personal & health reasons. Its bittersweet because she's been working at same place for 14 yrs as a nurse. My mama has decided to trade in her paycheque for time. Time to live her life the way she want to, not the way how society dictates it. Life's too short. Time for my mama to venture into the unknown, out of her nursing career. Lots of changes for my mama but she knows the only way is to move forward. "- Chef Pusheen
