By shifting my focus to textiles, I will be able to buy more and better goods from the merchant, which in turn will fuel further growth. To kickstart this ambitious project, I had to make some expensive but necessary structural investments. I prioritized upgrading my woodcutter huts and sawmills to level 2. This ensures a steady flow of high-quality wood, which is essential for upgrading my farm buildings to boost wool production and my looms to transform that raw wool into fabric.

Consequently, I am committed to a gradual process of expansion. By slowly ramping up my output of textiles and clothing, I will not only drastically improve the quality of life for my townnies, protecting them from the biting cold, but I will also generate a consistent surplus for trade. It is all about balance; I need to ensure that the infrastructure can support this specialized industry without neglecting our core survival needs.

Nevertheless, I am already calculating the margins and planning the next phase of the logistics for this shift toward a more sophisticated economy. En esta ocasión, decidí que era hora de mejorar radicalmente la producción de tela.

Sin embargo, mejorar la producción de lana, telas y ropa no es ningún capricho; es una necesidad obligatoria. Dado el clima helado de esta ciudad, mantener una buena producción de ropa es fundamental para que mis ciudadanos no se congelen. Además, necesito generar un excedente de algún producto caro para comerciar de forma eficiente con el mercader. Actualmente, le compro trigo para la cerveza y harina para el pan mientras le vendo madera y un montón de carbón, pero necesito algo de más valor, como prendas de vestir, para poder comprarle mejores artículos.

De hecho, la ropa es la opción lógica para escalar mi economía. Para zanjar este asunto y preparar la aldea para el futuro, decidí realizar una inversión algo cara pero necesaria: mejoré al nivel 2 los edificios de las cabañas de leñador y los aserraderos. Esto me garantiza la madera suficiente para mejorar las granjas, lo cual incrementará la producción de lana, y a su vez, permitirá mejorar los telares para transformar esa lana en tela de alta calidad de forma más rápida.

Luego de eso, me di cuenta de que este plan de expansión será gradual. Poco a poco iré produciendo más y más telas y ropas, mejorando así la calidad de vida de mis townnies y asegurando un buen excedente comercial. Se trata de encontrar el equilibrio perfecto para que la infraestructura soporte esta industria especializada sin descuidar las necesidades básicas de supervivencia de mi gente.

Sin embargo, ya estoy calculando los márgenes y planificando la siguiente fase logística para transformar este asentamiento en una potencia regional. Es un trabajo lento y metódico, pero ver cómo aumenta el stock de tela en el almacén me da mucha confianza de que voy por el camino correcto para asegurar la prosperidad a largo plazo de esta aldea.
