Exploring Inside an Abandoned Building
Exploring Inside an Abandoned Building
Hello everyone. A few weeks ago, a friend and I decided to explore one of the abandoned buildings in my city that has been sitting completely unused for years. Right now, the structure is in bad shape and carries a real risk of collapse due to the recent earthquakes in Venezuela, but I wanted to share this experience that took place right before all of that happened.
We headed over in the morning, and the atmosphere inside was just weird. The place was never even occupied by squatters or vandalized; it was simply left behind. All the hallways were entirely empty. I took the opportunity to snap a ton of photos of the interior. To be honest, the whole place gave off heavy liminal space and "backrooms" vibes—just plain unsettling.
Urban exploration is definitely an extreme way to spend a weekend, but those are exactly the kinds of things I enjoy. If you ever plan on doing something similar, just make sure to watch your step and stay careful out there.
Without anything more to add, I bid farewell. Stay tuned for future posts! Until next time!
