"Jar Jar Binks Should be Congressman," -No One Ever

On this special Star Wars Day, I grace the community with a special short film made using a few toys that I own. To be fair, I do not actually own a Jar Jar toy, that was a silly keychain I have which I, of course, never use. Jar Jar Binks is either hated or loved with not much room in between. Some fans hate his linguistic skills, or lack thereof. Did you know Jar Jar's original voice actor, Ahmed Best, employed a level of creative liberty while reading George Lucas' script? Other critics despise Jar Jar for suggesting to the Senate to give emergency powers to Darth Sidious (then-Chancellor Palpatine), something Senator Amidala would never have done, whom Jar Jar was representing. Me, personally, I fall somewhere in between the love/hate factions. I especially have a fondness for the "Darth Jar Jar" fan theory, memes, and that one clever cameo.
This short film was mostly an experiment, a test, to see how well and easily I can make projects using my own toys collected over the years. It was cleverly edited using CapCut and MS Paint and with aspects assisted by various artificially intelligent platform services, including the music. The dialogue was voice generated and based off of lines from the first film. This was also a test to find which of those services were most high-quality and cost-effective according to the assistance I needed. For example, since the main character was derived from a keychain and not an action figure, he could not articulate any joints, and so I could not use stop-motion editing. The original video was made on my Playstation (before it died, RIP..) and not very animated. In the future, I hope to be able to create more higher quality short stories and perhaps even a series.
