Microblogging is a form of blogging characterized by short, frequent posts, often used for sharing updates about personal activities or thoughts. However, some Threads are published by dedicated bots that parse and share articles from outside Hive.
Ecency launched its microblogging interface Decks on May 25, 2023. Decks allow users to share and interact with Waves, the native microblogging format of the Ecency front-end. Besides, Decks allow cross-platform interactions with Inleo Threads and D.Buzz content.|Reference: (2023) Introducing Decks and Waves @ecency/introducing-decks-and-waves
Unlike D.Buzz posts, Threads, and Waves are comments under a root post, called a container, published by a dedicated account. They don’t appear on users’ blogs.
