THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!

Having a well nurtured growth in the faith is the best thing to do for yourself as a Christian.

As you are growing in the faith, it is possible to pick certain bad behaviour from those you look up to.

But you have a responsibility to screen them away from yourself.

There was a brother I ministered to many years ago, he was doing well in the faith until he started observing that the leaders and pastors in his church assembly keep girlfriends and side chicks.

When the temptation to fornicate came, he didn't object. He succumbed to it and started having it with a sister in church who further strengthened his resolve to continue in it.

The sister told him about the girlfriends of others in church that he didn't know.

So when we met through a friend and I started ministering God's Word in our conversation, he decided to open up about the mess he found himself.

I shared Scripture and he was edified immediately and got strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Few years after, we met again and he was doing fine and married.

As a Christian, you have the responsibility to sever ties with the bad conducts you observe amongst Christians, especially that of those you look up to.

Some will teach you to lie, take away your innocence, or strengthen you in sin. The Bible says that evil communication corrupt good manners.

If you are raised poorly as a Christian, you will have a messy Christian life.
