Is it normal to feel alone?

Life has changed so much since we were little carefree kids. You probably also miss the moments when you could lie in the grass and watch the clouds on a summer day. The moments when the most important thing in your life is whether you got a whole set of stickers from a croissant or a picture of bubble gum. The moments when you're scared to go home because you're outrageously late because you didn't want to go home first for dinner.

I miss them.

Now as grown children, we continue to seek that carefree, though it's getting harder to find a way to make it happen. We have responsibilities not only to ourselves anymore but to our children if we have any. We think about whether we should sleep 2 hours more or do something tasty and interesting for them.

We close in on ourselves.

As much as we won't admit it. We seek peace, rest and more. It's no secret that more and more people are starting to experience different fears, not so much from their inner self, but from their outer environment. They start to feel alone.

Often we remain misunderstood

Not because we're weird, but because we've grown up. In many cases our peers are not on the same wavelength as us. We think about so many things related to family, work and ourselves.

It's normal for each of us to feel alone. It's not okay when it's a constant occurrence. If this loneliness comes in ebbs and flows with you - you are fine, but if it is permanent and follows you for months or years with this nasty feeling seek a psychologist, there they will give you guidance on what to do to get out of this cycle in your life!
