                                         Citizen Journalism

Now days almost everyone is staring at the screen of a smartphone. But should one happen to look up to see what's going on around them, they might see something news worthy and put that camera to good use.

The corporate mainstream media or MSM, would have us believe that only a person with a journalism degree is a journalist. Sure the extra skills would help, but it's just Not So.  Besides the media is nearly all owned by just six corporations, and everyone knows it is fake news propaganda. Sometimes referred to as The Mockingbird Media, because of an old Central Intelligence Agency operation to control the media, called Operation Mockingbird. On 22 September 2016 the U.S. Government leagalized the FBI to impersonate the media.

More and more people are turning to the so called Alternative Media for their news and information. As a Citizen Journalist, you can report the news unbiased. As a credentialed journalist/photographer, you can sometimes get a backstage pass so to speak, where the general public may not be allowed. Also in the USA it is legal to film in public, however the police don't generally like to be filmed, especially say during a protest or riot. If security or police tried to hinder or arrest a credentialed reporter, they would be in violation of the First Ammendment, Freedom of the Press.
