Laughter -5minfreewrite

I can hear the cackling sounds booming through the hall. It's unmistakeable, the way she will start at such an ear piercing volume and finish on a low frequency, as if humming to herself. All I did was ask if she would ever let me be free of her grasp but it was met with nothing but laughter. I could smell the raw stench of galic and onions being cut up on the counter and knew that asking to leave was just a foolish endeavor. As she approached me, I should've been afraid but a feeling of calm washed over my body as she started at me with her bight green eyes. Her curly red hair had started to fall into her face and I started to reach my hand towards her face but it was met with nothing but resistance.
