My acrylic Portraiture
Check out my newest painting. This time I decided to do a different kind of painting not on canvas but decided to do it on a cloth using acrylic paint.
However, I still made use of the painting approachs which came out successfully. I started with the sketch, laying of colours then the second laying of colours which made the work vivid.
Trying to control acrylic paint in Portraiture painting doesn't go smoothly as the oil paint due to it's fast dry nature. The oil takes awhile to dry so it gives you the whole time to blend it to your desire. Blending the acrylic one spend more time than ever. Dropping of colours and blending Immediately.
Since acrylic is a water based paint, so it sticks properly on fibre more than oil. I primed the surface with a white acrylic, then started laying my colours which came out neatly.
Quite an amazing experience. What do you think about this painting you could kindly drop your comments.
