FACEBOOK BANS BITCOIN AND ICO ADs
🚫Facebook bans bitcoin and ICO advertisements. The reason for the ban is stated in the company's blog a the prevention of what is called "financial products and services that are misleading, or deceptive advertising practices." Such ads will be banned not only on the site and in the app, but also in all other places where Facebook places ads, including Instagram and other third-party applications.
👥But there are some interesting facts: Facebook’s board of directors includes two cryptoinvestors - Mark Andreessen and Peter Til, and the head of Facebook Messenger David Markus is on the board of directors of the exchange market Coinbase. Mark Zuckerberg previously hinted at the fact that he plans to create his own crypto currency.
❓And now they prohibit crypto ads, motivating it a concern for users. Often this kind of "care" has very different motives. Who knows, maybe Facebook just cares about having less rivals.
