Help a friend

If you understand that a friend or friend of yours find themselves in a serious internet problem, try to help them: it can really be important. It can be used to let them vent or better understand the situation. You can take them out of a nasty trouble or help them get help from an adult.

Even if you're in doubt about the gravity of the situation, talk to him, try to understand the problem and act accordingly.
In two it's better than alone. Although it is not always enough.
That's how she made a friend of Susy to get her out of a bad situation in our webserie:

Helpful tips

Listen more than talk
Place yourself in a listening position. Avoid making judgements or saying too much about yours: it will help you open up more. Blurring is already a way to feel better.

Ask an adult for advice

Do not feel under pressure or incapacitated if you do not know what to do. Let us help you too. Asking for help from an adult can be just the best way to help your friend

Do not force anyone to speak
If they do not want not to insist indefinitely. Know that you will always be available to listen and that you will not judge them, they may change your mind in the future.

Know what worries you about

If you start the conversation, because you have seen that something is wrong, let them know what worries you. And that you're only talking to him because you keep us to them, not to judge them or anything else.

If there is a real danger, act

If you understand that the situation is very risky, take action by asking for help from a parent or teacher or directly from the police, even against the victim's will. One day he will thank you.

Recommend saving messages

If the person in distress is a victim of a cyberbulb or an attempt at solicitation, they can be evidence.
