Strawberry Sticks

For some years now we have been growing Strawberry Sticks known i Swedish as Bärmålla.
Besides being pretty they are really awesome!
Firstly the leaves can be used in salads and kind of resembles spinatch.

Then, the berries them self. They are sweet an really moist. So moist it is hard to handle them. (And that's probably why you cant get them in stores.)
They have this earthy tone that makes me think of beetroots.

We usually make jam with them, adding in some blueberry's.
