Capanari's law
Professor Capanari was my anthropology teacher , The Capanari law was that if most people believe something, it probably isn't true, and if EVERYONE believes it, it is definitely untrue. He based this on his meeting with Leery (a famous anthropologist) who told him about a book that he sent to be published. Leery said that he already knew where he was wrong. It would be about 5 years before most people read it.
