The twenty-eighth round of the Golden League, a rematch of Round 6 results, solidified the leaders' positions, and the defending champion and other mid-table players made key moves, closing in on the safe zone.

Sensations and Key Decisions:

Leader @danmaruschak bravely defends his position. He defeated @itz.inno for the second time this season, holding onto 1st place, but only thanks to a higher total step count (FOR) for the season.

The American's direct rival for the title is @benbow2017. His rival this round was @cezary-io. For an unknown reason, the Pole gifted the Bulgarian three points without a fight. Everything suggests that the direct match between the rivals in the next round will be decisive for the championship title.

The high score by @sk1920 is a surprise. Maybe not the score itself, but the fact that it was the Best Score in GL (Best Score in Golden League). In addition to the usual 100 AFIT award, the Pole celebrated a successful rematch for his loss to @mushanov in the first match. The Bulgarian is in increasing trouble—time is running out, and his deficit to the safe zone is still large.

Defending champion @bucipuci secured another victory, this time in a match against the podium contender @new.things. The Czech seems secure in the TOP 10, and the Australian must fight for a medal position with @manuvert. The Frenchman received three points as a gift from @patif2025 this round.

The twenty-eighth round of the POLIAC Silver League brought the biggest sensation of the season! @actifit-godfish broke the Season Record (SSLB) and defeated leader @caspermoeller89, completely changing the balance of power at the top.

Sensations and Key Decisions:

Leader's Defeat and New Record: The duel between @actifit-godfish and @caspermoeller89 ended sensationally. The previous leader fell to the Czech player, who set a new season record in the SL with his score. Previously, the record holder was another Czech player – @tom45p.

Change in Leadership: The Dane's defeat cost him the leader's position because his fiercest rival, @tom45p, confidently won his match against @homesteadlt. Given the dynamism of the SL, I am certain this is not the last change in the leader position, as ten rounds still remain in the SL season.

Even More Excitement Behind the Leaders: The deficit of third-place player @flemingfarm to the leaders is nine points, so he is still in the race for promotion. @actifit-godfish and @silvertop are three points behind him.
