Ella recuerda el ayer en su congoja
Parece estarlo reviviendo siempre
Los pasos dados y equivocados
Las palabras dichas que no se dijeron.

Los recuerdos van y vienen, como las olas del mar
En suspiros y lamentos ella parece estar siempre absorta
Su gran amor vino y se fue y ella se enteró después.

La locura pretende asaltarla por momentos
Siente ganas de buscarle, pero no lo hace
No sabe por dónde empezar a hacerlo
Él se fue y ya tiene a otra, él no volverá.

Ya la esperó bastante y ella no le dio su cariño
Él se cansó de buscar su atención tan distante
Se fue a buscar su gran amor a otra parte
Con una mujer que no le ignorase de forma tajante.

Ahora ella tiene penas que debe aguantar
Ella solo puede irse a llorar al río, y lo sabe
Ella no sabe ni lo que hará en su tristeza
Quiere olvidarle, pero su memoria lo trae de vuelta.

Pero cada instante que pasa parece un siglo de dolor
Cada sensación en su mente es intensamente vivida
Es vívido su deseo de pasar página y tendrá que hacerlo.

La lucha consigo misma la tiene en suspenso
En vela ella parece, por momentos, derrumbarse
Pero cuando llegue otro gran amor ella sabrá
Que sin comerlo ni beberlo no deberá ignorarle.

Without eating or drinking it

She remembers the yesterday in her grief
She seems to be always reliving it
The steps taken and wrong taken
The words said that were not said.

She begs his mind for the torments to go away
Memories come and go, like the waves of the sea
In sighs and lamentations she seems always absorbed
Her great love came to her and went from her and she found out later.

Madness tries to assault her at times
She feels like looking for him, but she doesn't
She doesn't know where to start
He left and already has someone else, he won't come back.

He got tired of seeking her attention so distantly

Now she has sorrows that she must endure
She can only go cry in the river, and she knows it
She doesn't even know what she will do in her sadness.
She wants to forget him, but her memory brings him back.
