Praise all you mothers
You are as no others
Raising boys even as they are men
Make them good fathers
Their own story’s authors
The sequel told through your children
All you mothers please
Raise your boys up for peace
Do not raise them up to be soldiers
Do not make them afraid
Do not ask they invade
The homes of distant strangers
Praise all you mothers
You are as no others
Raising girls to go through the same stages
To feel life from inside
To bear, nurture, and guide
To prepare them to meet fools and sages
