Massive Animated Star Animation
In this animation I made there were half a million points representing stars. Star coordinates are taken from the Tycho 2 NASA star catalog.
All stars are in their accurate positions as in real life. There's almost half a million stars in this animation. It didn't take too much power to render them all, but I was lucky to have a powerful computer doing the animation in HD res. Please play it in HD, as youtube compression makes the video look blotchy.
