How I Define Success

Success is one of those words that means different things to different people some people define success only by how much money they have in their bank account others look at the kind of car you drive the house you live in or the position you hold at work but for me success goes beyond material things.

I define success as peace of mind growth and the ability to keep moving forward no matter the obstacles it is waking up every morning and knowing that even if I don’t have everything I want yet I am working towards it with consistency success is not about competing with others, it is about becoming a better version of myself compared to yesterday my honest take is this many people run after success without defining it for themselves that is why even when they achieve some things, they still feel empty I used to think success was only when you have plenty money and everything looks perfect but life taught me otherwise Success to me is also being able to raise my children with love, staying strong even after painful experiences and still having the courage to dream big.

There are some things I do personally to stay on this path.

1 Learning: I keep improving myself by reading, practicing, and gaining new skills knowledge gives me confidence and opens opportunities.

2 Consistency: Even when results are slow I don’t give up for example, freelancing was tough at first, but staying consistent helped me move forward.

3 Gratitude: I remind myself to thank God for where I am no matter how small gratitude keeps me from comparing myself too much with others.

4 Helping others: I believe success is not complete if it is only about me sharing advice, encouraging someone or giving support makes me feel fulfilled too.

If i am being honest, success is not a final destination it is a journey as long as i am alive I will keep setting new goals and achieving them step by step for me, true success is when I can look back and say I lived a meaningful life, I touched people is hearts and I didn’t give up on myself.

So, my message to others is this define success in your own terms don’t let the world force its definition on you ask yourself what truly matters to me once you know that, every little progress in that direction is already success.
