Analysis of 3-Month Performance Using Grid Trading Bot

Hello! Today, I'd like to share the performance results of my automated trading bot, which has been operating with a Grid trading strategy over the past three months. Grid trading is a strategy that repeatedly buys and sells based on price volatility to generate profit, particularly effective in highly volatile markets. Let's dive into the detailed results based on the performance graph.

Performance Overview

• Period: February 23, 2024, to May 22, 2024
• Total Profit: +102.31 USD

As you can see from the graph, the profit initially showed a steady upward trend. From late February to mid-March, the profit surged, reaching approximately 4,899 USD. This was likely due to high market volatility, with the bot executing trades effectively.

Mid-Term Analysis

After mid-March, the profit started to decline sharply. During this period, it went through a maximum loss phase, dropping steadily to around 1,633 USD by the end of March. This could be attributed to sudden market changes or issues with the bot’s settings. Additionally, the reduction in profit was due to executing trades aimed at lowering the average purchase price (average down strategy). This strategy involves buying more of an asset as its price drops, thereby reducing the average cost per unit, but also temporarily reducing profitability.

From April to May, the profit showed a slight recovery but did not reach the previous peak. However, there was a gradual and consistent profit generation, indicating a stabilization phase.
