First Time Playing Quake - Quake Gameplay (Stage 1)

This is a captured recording of my first time playing Quake, I missed all the secrets but it was a good run. Quake is the first game in the Quake series and is a retro game created by the same company that developed DOOM and Wolfenstein. Its one of the first games I purchases on Steam and since then I have played the shit out of it.

Quake is a fast-paced first person shooter. The levels are well designed mazes which have 6 hidden secrets throughout the level. It's easier to get stuck in the game, I get to do a lot of back tracking and restarting levels to figure out if I missed anything.

The aim of the game is to complete each level in the shortest amount of time possible with or without discovery the secret areas.

One of the many things I like about this game is that some of the bosses are based on the HP Lovecraft monsters. They wanted to add more back there wasn't enough time to implement them into the game.
