Sugar Syrup - A Minnesota Beekeeper in "Spring?"
A Minnesota Beekeeper in Spring
April 12, 2018
I checked the hives to see if they need any more sugar syrup. All 3 hives were fine. I did mix up a new batch of Healthy Bee Healthy, as well as another gallon of sugar syrup. The weather is still not cooperating with us Minnesota beekeepers. It has been cold, and the bees have remained in a cluster. The good news though is that we are in for a winter storm warning where we might get another 8” to 12” of fresh new snow.
Maple trees are trying to bud. Robins are carrying picket signs that say …. “UNFAIR!”
Thanks for reading along.
