Please tell me that I'm not the only one who encounters this and is like WHY THO?!

It's not even brand specific because that's Wellness Signature Selects, and other cans from Wellness fit the lids just fine.

Tiki Cat has some cans that are the off size too, as I recall, but others of that brand also fit.
