Knit For A Cause
Hey friends! I saw this information on social media, so I wanted to pass it along to our community of knitters/crocheters! There is a request for needleworkers to knit/crochet retention bandages for leprosy patients in the Philippines. They have a need for specialty bandages for their wounds. Here is the Instagram reel I first saw about it: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8QrTFNpmam/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
So I've joined the Facebook group and am looking into what yarn I would need to get to make some. Here are the informational posters from that group, not at all my creation, they were made by Phi Lambda Delta sorority sisters, Gillian Uy and Cindy Serrano.
The Facebook group, btw, is called "Knits by May."
