I Am Alive And Tired Of Being Phobic

Hello friends! I was once again scared of a bug when I woke up today (sigh), so let's get my mind off and talk about other things. Have I mentioned I am really tired of this fucking bug phobia? Really tired. I hate startling right out of my skin over a tiny little creature. I wish I could logic my way out of it, but unfortunately that's not how it works. Yes, I have tried various solutions. Believe it or not, I'm better than I used to be, but not cured.

Yuan isn't scared

The chocolate drops are still looking like grass heads with no blooms yet. I wonder if they are waiting on pollenators. There used to be bees below my balcony hanging out in the sage bushes, but they cut the sage bushes down to stumps this year and I don't know why. :( I haven't seen the bees. Nor the yellow swallowtail butterflies that live on the other side of the building.

On a positive note, I finally got a sprout in the big planter! Just one so far, but I'm happy about it. I was worried that nothing was coming up. I planted zinnias as well as very old sunflower seeds. I thought the sunflowers might be too old, but the zinnia seeds aren't. So I'm happy to see something has finally sprouted since I planted those a while ago!
