I Am Alive And So Is My Giga Pet

Hello, all! How many of you are old enough to remember Tamagotchis and Giga Pets?

Well, I was cleaning the other day and found mine, and it still works! So I've been having fun playing with my giga kitty, whom I've named Hamish.

I've decided that Hamish is a Maine Coon because he is a big boi:

And that was before I fed him an extra treat that day and he got chonky!

The game he plays is catching a butterfly:

And he does tricks. Here is when you ask him to walk:

I had to look up the instructions online to remember what all the things were, and it says it's supposed to tell me his hunger and discipline levels too, but it doesn't. Maybe the online instructions are for a newer model? I've had mine since the 90s, lol.

Anyway, I thought I would share my amusement with y'all. I have a working Tamagotchi as well, but one of the buttons is torn so I have to keep a stick on hand to press it at all, which is why I haven't played with them in a while. I did when I first recovered it too, though.
