Lewis Carroll and Russian language

Traveling around Russia, Lewis Carroll wrote in his diary an example of a particularly complex Russian word: “defending ones”. In English transcription, it turned out like this:

"zashtsheeshtshayoushtsheekhsya"

Google is now issuing such a transcription: "zashchishchayushchikhsya".

In Russian, it is written like this: "защищающихся".

Writer Vladimir Nabokov cited the word “climbing out” ("выкарабкивающиеся") as a very difficult word for foreigners.
It's sounds like:

"vykarabkivayushchiyesya"
