Digital Distance
Good day my friends here on the community.
This drawing is really about that quiet mood when everyone is in the same room but lost in their own screens. I was sitting there lolling, just noticing how we all get sucked into our phones. The message is simple: even when we are physically close, there is this big gap between us that we tend to ignore or not notice at all. That dark space in the middle is the loudest shape for me because it represents that silence. That void ...
I wanted the feeling to be a bit lonely but also very real for today. It’s about how we share a space without actually sharing a conversation. The concept is just that digital glow that keeps us busy while the person right next to us feels miles away. It's a dreamy and sad vibe that I think we all recognize lately.
The whole idea was quick and fun to think about, even if the mood is a bit heavy. That’s my thing: make, go with the flow, edit, meh, keep what’s working and learn from mistakes. Do you ever feel lonely even when you're hanging out with friends?
