Hive Virtual Webinar for New Members

It is always a privilege to share what I know with my community. This is what I have been doing since 2021. I joined Hive in less than a month but I have taken it upon myself to bring my community with me to Hive. It started as a whatsapp status then I saw that many people had an interest in knowing more about Hive. I created a whatsapp platform to hold an introductory class, to my amazement over a 130 people joined the community.

On Sunday, 16th on Feb 2025, we organized a virtual meeting with them. We were astonished by meeting turnups because about 70 persons joined this meeting. During the meeting, we spoke about blockchain, it features and various applications in today’s world. Then we gave a vivid introduction to Hive blockchain and platform. More specifically, we introduce Hive blog to them and illustrated how they could register for a Hive account.

We gave them a break and scheduled another meeting with them yesterday. It was an interesting experience. Here, we had time to take them through Hive blog and how they can start the Hive journey of which many attendees took initiatives to post their introductory posts. I can confirm for @pascal-001, @dannyambless, @shugarr, @rkm1okpoti, etc. Kindly stop by their posts to welcome them and to encourage them to stay. I can confirm that many more will join because I have a number of attendees in my dm working on their first posts.

It won’t stop here, we will continue to reach more people. Hive is a great opportunity and I can’t keep it to myself. A heartfelt gratitude to my bosses @mcsamm and @collinz who were very instrumental in helping to make this training session a reality
