Vero the cat had been away from home for a couple of days and came home today. My brother was quite worried.
Vero is a stray cat who came home as a kitten one rainy night. My brother picked him up and he has been at home ever since. But he is a very free cat, and ever since he grew up he likes to go out for walks, sometimes he leaves one day and comes back the next.
But recently some stray dogs have been roaming the street in front of the house, and they have harassed and killed other stray cats. That is why my brother was worried that the cat did not appear for two days in a row.
It is good that Vero came back.

El gato Vero había estado fuera de casa por un par de días y regresó hoy a casa. Mi hermano estaba bastante preocupado.
Vero es un gato callejero que llegó de cachorro a casa, una noche de lluvia. Mi hermano lo recogió y desde entonces quedó en casa. Pero él es un gato muy libre, y desde que creció le gusta salir a pasear, en ocasiones se va un día y regresa al siguiente.
Pero, recientemente, unos perros callejeros han estado rondando la calle frente a la casa, y han acosado y matado a otros gatos callejeros. Es por eso que mi hermano estaba preocupado de que el gato no apareciera por dos días seguidos.
Es bueno que Vero regresara.
