A Sweet Pause After the Event
Hello dear Hivers, Pearlyshell here — bringing you another story shaped by experience, wrapped in reflection.
This time, I want to share a beautiful and heartwarming experience our team recently had at Cordova Home Village — a hidden gem in Cordova, Cebu that’s perfect for events, family time, and sweet little memories.
We are a team of four who took part in decorating a special event. While the main package — including the ceiling, catering, tables, and stage — was provided by Cordova Home Village, our team under Lade MODA Couture PH added the mini decorations that gave the setup a softer and more personal touch. We worked on flower arrangements, centerpieces, and signage details to help bring everything to life.
But beyond the work, this experience became even more meaningful when the baby of one of our teammates joined us and enjoyed the place in the most adorable way. He got to ride a carabao, something you don’t see every day in event places! The joy on his face was priceless — and later, he also had a fun time swimming in the venue’s huge pool. It reminded us that this place isn’t just for formal events — it’s also for laughter, bonding, and childhood moments that stick in your heart.
Cordova Home Village is truly one of a kind. It’s peaceful and beautiful, with wide-open spaces, the biggest swimming pool in the area, and several event halls all in one place. Their rooms are spacious and perfect for groups, making it ideal for staycations and celebrations of any kind. Whether you’re hosting a wedding, birthday, or just spending time with family — this village has everything you need.
While waiting for the event to end — since we had to take down all the decorations after the wedding — I truly enjoyed the simple joy of kugos (carrying) the baby of one of our fellow decorators. I’ve always loved babies, and his cuteness melted my heart! I took so many pictures with him because I just couldn’t resist capturing the moment. It made the long wait more meaningful and reminded me how even in busy days, small moments like this can bring so much joy.
This day reminded me that decorating isn’t just about flowers and fabric — it’s also about creating spaces where memories bloom. From the baby’s happy splash to the couple’s elegant table, every corner held a story.
Until next time,
@Pearlyshelll
