My New Hybrid Mining Strategy: BCH Stability + RVN Compounding Power
Mining today isn’t just about raw hashrate. It’s about strategy, payout frequency, volatility, and how fast you can turn small amounts of crypto into more crypto. After running different setups and testing how various chains pay out, I’ve locked in the approach that gives me the best mix of stability and fast compounding.
This is the hybrid mining strategy I’m using now, and why it outperforms my previous setups.
1. Bitaxe → ViaBTC (Mining BCH for Stability)
My Bitaxe miner runs at about 1 TH/s using only around 20 watts. That makes it perfect for constant, reliable BCH mining on ViaBTC.
Why BCH for the Bitaxe?
- BCH is stable and liquid
- The Bitaxe is optimized for SHA-256
- Payouts are consistent
- Perfect for slow, passive accumulation
- Costs almost nothing to run
This is my long-term “slow and steady” stacking engine.
2. All Small Miners → Zpool (Mining for RVN Payouts)
Every other miner I have — USB miners, Raspberry Pis, smaller ASICs — are pointed at Zpool with payouts set to RVN.
RVN payouts are fast and frequent. This creates a constant flow of crypto I can immediately compound.
Why RVN?
- Frequent payouts throughout the day
- High liquidity
- Great volatility for flipping
- Perfect for small miners
- Easy to convert into staking assets
RVN becomes the fuel line for steady compounding.
3. RVN → HBAR for Instant Staking
As soon as RVN hits my Atomic Wallet, I swap it directly into HBAR.
Why HBAR?
- Staking is automatic
- No lockups
- Rewards start immediately
- Very low fees
- Perfect for small, frequent deposits
HBAR is my micro-staking engine that grows in real-time.
4. Weekly HBAR → ATOM for Higher Long-Term APR
When enough HBAR accumulates, I convert it into ATOM. ATOM’s staking yield is significantly higher and provides strong long-term growth.
Why ATOM?
- 14%–18% APR
- Rewards compound quickly
- Great long-term upside
- Solid liquidity and volatility
HBAR handles the small, fast compounding. ATOM handles the heavy growth.
5. Why This Hybrid System Works Better Than My Old Setups
I’ve tested mining only BCH, only RVN, BTC forks, and direct staking. None of those matched the output of this hybrid system.
BCH Miner = Stability
- Slow and steady
- Long-term reserve
- Reliable income
RVN Miners = Speed
- Fast payouts
- Fast compounding
- More opportunities to trade
HBAR = Efficiency
- Perfect for tiny payouts
- Immediate staking
ATOM = Growth
- High APR
- Massive compounding potential
Instead of choosing stability or speed, I get both at the same time.
Final Breakdown
- Bitaxe → BCH on ViaBTC (long-term stability)
- All other miners → RVN on Zpool (fast compounding)
- RVN → HBAR (instant staking)
- HBAR → ATOM (high long-term APR)
This strategy gives me daily liquidity, strong compounding power, and long-term crypto stacking all at once.
This is the mining setup I’m sticking with going forward.
