# SPENT OR SERVED?

What do you see?

Enh, I see a Banana peel.
That's right!
But what do you see?
Do you see emptiness, weakness, exhaustion, abandonment, desertion and brokenness, or do you see fulfilment, service, faithfulness, satisfaction and a blessing?
We all could dispose this peel with honour, having served its purpose, or as trash and even a curse as its slippery surfaces can lead to fatal accidents and it's rotten smell can leave a stench in a room.
This is actually how we treat people around us. We either see them as spent or served. Thus, we either remember them with good memories or dump and even avoid them because we've suddenly become insecure...after enjoying these services.
Perhaps, a change in perspective could help.
Celebrating a person's services and reliving the good tastes they brought can be an awesome experience. Let's remember to focus on the good above the stench an old, used and practically exhausted relationship could bring.
Who knows, such services, just like a banana peel could be re-processed into flour, creating more value than we could ever imagine.
