Yay! From darkness to light.

After the weeks of dark storms, we had lovely sunlight this morning.

I just had to stop in order to show you these sights.

Some of our dams in the province are full and overflowing now, creating much damage to the farms and the areas below the dams. Sadly, one person also died in the flooding and it is never good to hear. They reckon that this is going to be one of our wettest winters, and rock falls are a big danger on the mountain passes. So, at the moment, we only visit the accessible places for photos close to our home.
Such as the pictures that you will see here below.

Yep! That little baby was peeping at me, and maybe he thought that I would want to steal his milkshake :)

I apologized for my intrusion, but they glared at me like some hiveans that I know :)

Then the mom sent the baby to the playground, and check out this cute little one at the front.

Meanwhile, this pale Guineafowl was watching if there was a girlfriend on the other side of the fence.

A lovely show of the little goslings.

As I walked towards the car, that guy was staring at me.

A beautiful farm scene, and ever so slowly the clouds started rolling in again.

The next cold front is set to land tomorrow morning (Monday) bringing rain and some severe storms and cold with it. Many bridges and roads were washed away, and also some crops on the farms were flooded. They reckon that we will have a smaller harvest this year, which is always bad news for food security. It is also said that the underground water tables are full, meaning that the ground is saturated and more water will create more flooding. Never good news. But then again, we need the water.
I just wish they would build more dams, as millions of liters of water run down to the ocean.
But such is life.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures.

And That's All Friends.
