Such a dear heart.

She didn't see me watching through the window.

The wind blew a small bee off a flower, and it fell onto the ground.

In my childhood, October month was known as the kite flying month, due to the strong winds. But that was far away up north in the country. October winds down here at the coast are so strong that they will tear a kite made with light paper on a frame apart. At times we can get powerful gale force gusts, and a light frame kite will stand no chance up in the sky. No, in case that you want to know, I have not built a kite yet, and I don't plan to :)
So, come and see the care that this woman has for the residents of nature.

She picked it up and propped the little bee up to climb onto a flower.

The flowerpot was selected as it was sheltered from the wind.

Immediately the bee started to eat.

And this below was on another occasion.

I call her the "Mother Theresa" of nature :)
She stopped me from reversing our car out of the garage, as this bug was on the floor behind the car, and she was scared that I would drive over it.

And then she stood in the driveway with the bug on her hand, coaxing it to fly away.

I knew that I would have to wait, so I popped out of the car with my camera.

This guy was preparing to launch, and I hoped to get it taking off.

Voila! Look at it flying away.

News about our work at Papillon.

Now if you think that my wife has a kind love for nature's residents, then I wish that you can see how kind she is to the people that we work with at Papillon. Especially the elderly and children. Lately we seem to be drawn to the supporting of disabled children, and Papillon is already supporting one non-profit that works with them. The good news is that we were invited to meet a missionary couple that runs another home for disabled children in a different area. So, maybe we will also get involved there.
