A real dreamy sky.

I invite you on a salient journey to drift along with me in the sky.

At times, we have to let go of all and allow our busy minds to find rest in the clouds.

Chasing along in life, after our desires, can really wear us out and the sad result that instead of things getting better, they just get busier. It is the same in the charity world, as now with all the Trump cuts the donors simply start to disappear. It was tough going before, but now we face a high mountain that we, as Non-Profits, have to climb. Not only that, but the need is also increasing. Trump has stopped all funding to our country, and many worthy causes will have to shut their doors. At Papillon we have experienced this before, and it has trained us to become masters of survival, so this time round we will just keep on hanging on.
That's why I find solace when I allow my mind to find rest in the sky.

There was a dove sitting on a roof peak, also having a look at the sky.

And then the dove went home, wherever that is.

I thought to show you this lovely dark and light contrast.

Slowly, the colors started to appear at sunset, and I'll show you the progress of the sunset colors in the photos below.

Lovely, isn't it? I took all the photos in our front garden, and there was no way that I could see the sun on the horizon, but the beautiful colors in the clouds were enough to settle my mind.

There is always hope, and why I say this is that we had a meeting with the pastor of a big center that houses not just a disabled children school, but also a primary school for able children. They also cater for pre-primary school children and early child development. The dream is now to also build a high school on the premises, as they have a lot of space. Although the primary school has a high pass rate, there are those at schools that fail some grades. Eventually, the children become too old, and a plan has to be made for them. I came up with the idea to build a skills training center that specializes in several trades like building, plumbing, electrical, welding, etc. for those kids. Further discussions will be held, and maybe this could become a very good thing.
We shall see what we shall see.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
