Cyborg Dinosaur

hello!

here is the finished cyborg dinosaur stomping through the swamp :)

it has some small mounted guns and can defend itself
but is not heavily armed. it is more a exploration unit
that is scouting the swamps on a distant planet.

it is a transformed plastic dinosaur.
you can spot the original toy in this image of my studio
(small orange dinosaur on the left side.)

took me a while to glue all the little pieces.
once i was happy with it i painted it with black spray paint and acrylics.

the most fun was decorating the dinosaur with moss
and making that small swamp-platform.
the base and the mud and moss really help to tell a story
and put the figure into it´s own world.
i´m quite happy how it worked out!

it´s like a mix of star wars and James Gurneys Dinotopia

atm i am making a little sea-monster that can actually dance
and balance a small ball over it´s blow-hole.
it´s true !:D maybe i´ll have to make a video of that one...
will update on it later.
