Sinabawan na karne ng baboy with Pechay (Braised Pork with Pechay) Filipino Dish
Hello mga ka foodies! Allow me again to share with you guys what I cooked tonight for our dinner.
Tonight I cooked Braised Pork with Pechay. Earlier, while my mom and I were talking, she mentioned to me that someone was lending a hot dog. I said it's better to buy than borrow because you can save more if you buy in cash. My mom said she didn't have any money to buy either, then I said we will buy but not hotdogs. That's why I thought of buying pork worth 158 pesos. This is just a simple cooking and budget meal for our family.
My mom has already chopped the meat at the market and she has also bought other spices for the pork that I will cook.
I have prepared everything needed for cooking. I have washed the pot to be used. I will also wash the pork. I also washed the spices to make sure they were clean before cooking.
Ingredients:
- Pork
- Pechay
- Lemon grass
- Sweet pepper
- Onion leaves
- Salt
- Vetsin
In cooking, this is the simple process.
I put the meat and other spices in a pot with half water.
After that I lit the wood and let it boil until the pork was tender.
When it boiled, I seasoned it with only two spices. It is the salt and vetsin.
These two are used so that the taste of what we cook is equal.
After I seasoned it, I just let it boil for a few minutes. At least 3-5 minutes before taking it.
And those are just the processes involved in making Braised Pork with Pechay.
This is the finished product.
Happy eating!
