Back from the Dead

Hello my fellow Steemheads!

It's certainly been a while since I've been here. Life's been throwing curveballs at me left and right and I've been trying to figure some things out, but I think I'm on my way.

Since last I posted here, I've had two vehicles breakdown on me, went through several job changes, and been involved in a car accident. I've been in some rough mental spots, feeling totally helpless and as if the world was out to get me, but I'm getting better, or at least moving forward.

A Change of Pace:

Since my disappearance last year, I've been thinking about what directions I want to go with in life and all that jazz. I've always loved two things: writing and making people laugh.

In short, I've had dreams of starting a blog for a long time and I'm just going to go ahead and try it out here and see what happens.

The Idea:

I've been thinking of going in a comedic direction, parodying politics, philosophy, and other things.

I want to call it the Freedom from Thought blog or something like that.

In addition to the creativity involved, it would ease the burden of money that has been hurting me lately due to the above mentioned mishaps.
