Peace Through Strength
Peace Through Strength
Left for we humans we prefer soft landing in everything pertaining to our desires and wants. Unfortunately, life doesn't play out in such manner considering high competition rate which brings about survival of the fittest and others among humans. You can't get anything when you don't do something. There's a price to pay for virtually everything on earth surface, you either face your battles and challenge your limit or remain stagnant with no growth or any result to show forth.

I used to believe there's a reason for everything that happens and when it doesn't favour me the way I want it, life still goes on. That used to be my slogan right from childhood days when I learnt to make heavy decisions that shaped me into the man that I am today. Sometimes we claim we have moved on from a particular problem but few instances proves how vulnerable we are to what we think we've surpassed. "Peace through strength" is one of the recent slogan I fell in love with. My description of the phrase "peace through strength" is that, peace is the best option but if it means fighting to maintain or keep that peace, then so be it.
We've allowed situations to weigh us down and water down completely what we stand for. I still believe that w everything happens for a reason but if it means fighting to let it not happen, then why not? Everything happens for a reason but don't be the reason why everything you don't want happens to you. If your aspirations requires you to burn the midnight candle to achieve greatness, sleeping off because you're tired won't take you there. Whatever that's worth fighting for, fight for it, don't be lazy and sugarcoat it with everything happens for a reason.
Fighting for something requires strength depending on what exactly you're fighting for and you want to achieve. Big dreams requires big sacrifices, you must be intentional and know skilfully, how to handle your distractions. If you want peace, it comes with it's ups and downs, what can you do to keep your peace of mind, what can you sacrifice to keep peace. I learnt something from Pete Hegseth (secretary of war department of the US). Man is advocate for peace but he's never a weak person, he knows exactly when to pull the trigger when need be. If peace will not flow calmly as it should then there's no choice than using strength to achieve it.
Seeking peace through strength doesn't necessarily mean war but readiness to go through difficult routes to ensure there's restoration and orderliness. This difficult route can mean so many things, addiction, lustful desires, unrealistic high expectations and many more "emphasis on high expectations". One of the greatest tool that takes away peace is high expectations, this is a major setback for peace.
If you don't know how to leave above your expectations in life, it will be very difficult to experience true peace and happiness since you're at a constant war with your peace of mind. Joy cometh in the morning is for those who fought and survived the night..
