Coffee Slap
Celebrating a victory over caffeine!
Yesterday I was conversing with a friend and somehow the conversation went to how coffee can cause nerves to flare up, increasing anxiety. She kicked the habit and I wanted to scribble up a quick tribute sketch to commemorate her momentous win! Congratulations!
Personally, I don't even really drink coffee
I don't even need coffee to get triggered, all it takes is a slow PC or software programming error and I get chest pains as I transform into a swear wolf. I'm more of a tea and water person. I need to stop swearing :(Pencil version + Story time
Once, before super high rents drove out all the cool family businesses, there was a dive Turkish coffee shop in the small city at the river's mouth. It was near the mechanical bridge, which lifted to let boats down the river. This caused pauses in automotive traffic. Me and my brother and some kid he knew from school would sit out on the bench, where backlogged motorists would just sit and stare at us. We came to call it the "attention bench" because those bug-eyed weirdos would stare and stare and stare till the traffic relented. Clowns, all of them!!!
I'm too tired to work now...
...and I'm opting to draw more instead of play these dumb mobile games. Even though I like the mini-choppers and the steady flow of missiles they shoot at the sniper towers. Who cares, ultimately? At least with drawing I can improve my skillz and hopefully brighten the day a bit. No one benefits from me playing games - not even me!I might draw a duck at a saw mill.
Having a hard time keeping up with comments, I will try to catch up soon though.
